Nicotinamide

Also called Niacin or Vitamin B3. Niacin helps in the release of energy and in the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats and proteins. Whilst it does have many other uses, it is this function which is of most benefit in the FAB formulation.

Deficiency can cause depression and mental disturbance as well as the more likely pellagra which causes sunburn-like eruptions when exposed to the sun.
